Rio Maior High Performance Centre – Swimming

Overview: The Rio Maior Sports Centre houses a Olympic Preparation Centre, in partnership with the Portuguese Olympic Committee, the only one in the country to support Portugal's olympic athletes and also athletes from Portuguese speaking countries, members of ACOLOP.

The Swimming Pool Complex houses a Swimming High Performance Centre, a partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Portugal's Swimming Federation, a facility that's houses the equipments needed to support the training of the Portuguese Swimming National Teams athletes.

We are located in Rio Maior, a Portuguese city in the center of the country, 80 Km´s away from the capital, Lisbon, and 30 km´s away from the shore. The sea level is 72 meters. Rio Maior is connected to all major Portuguese cities by a network of highways. The Lisbon airport is only about 45 minutes by car.
